I called the site and you can get a 5 day trial membership after which time you are free to cancel your membership. They offer two subscription packages: a 6 month at $9.67 a month and a 3 month at $14.48 a month. According to the site all books they have in their library are copyright free so if this is true then it is possible that the copyright on Clive's book is no longer valid or has expired. The problem is can you trust these people to cancel your membership when you call. I have a new/old credit card with only $37.04 on it and it is left over from when I got spiffs for selling appliances so I might take a flyer and download it. Meanwhile I will check on the copyright and if it is not in force I might just upload the darn thing myself as scanned pages.. I honestly wouldn't worry about any malware as most PDF files are clean and any good virus protector like Norton or Avast would stop any malware dead in it's track.
