When I watched it the second time, I noticed the creature's face seems to have gone missing in the sacrifice scene. In the woods, he bears more than a passing resemblence to the alternative author; but in the temple, he is all black. It makes me wonder if the mask was funnier than anyone could stand -- explaining the giggling astronauts. Btw, if you look closely, two of them try not to laugh; one is simply much less successful than the other. Alternatively if they (Cy himself?) decided facelessness was scary (was he that clever?), possibly the creature walked into things -- he didn't seem to have eyeholes in whatever's over his head. That is my second hypothesis.

I LOVE!!!!!! this piccie!! I'm saving it! What kind of atmosphere is he in and how does that helmet work exactly??? Did it have a smoke hole that he's covering with his hand as he lights up??

I'll have to track it down...I can't remember what planet was involved or if they went to the moon. That would help.
