However, us more sophisticated aesthetically motivated types would have to disagree. ;-))
I'm all for good entertainment anyway, so I suspect that I have enjoyed immensely anything that MacGoohan and Diana Rigg have done. It's just that the genius and precedent-setting boldness of "The Prisoner" series really impressed me... and I see shades of it sometimes when I'm watching a Dennis Potter series.
Yeah, that Pennyfarthing sign will never be the same again for me after watching The Prisoner, notwithstanding those white weather balloons. Yoicks.
