Hello Sam,

You write: "Alex, I saw Hidalgo and was basically bored. I thought the characterizations were cardboard cutouts, and the acting unconvincing. But I guess it just depends on individual perspective. When I found out about the related scandal I was even less impressed."

I have to broadly agree with you there. But what's this about 'Hidalgo' and a scandal?
I rarely get to read the likes of 'Empire', Film Review', et al, so this is news to me.
