Isn't it funny how you learn these things? Back in the early days of my first marriage when things weren't too bad I told my ex he should sit on the porch with Grandaddy and listen to some of his stories. Grandaddy lived in Atlanta as a kid and young man and moved to Alabama not too long before WWI. I asked Sid on the way home if Granddaddy had told him any stories and he said, "Yes, he told me how he got the clap from a red-headed whore in Atlanta."
He never told ME that story!!
(He did say it was before he met Grandma)
