LOL! This must be a by-product of MB or something because I am a hermittroll here at the house. I sit in the dark with no shades open or lights on either. Boss woman walks in for lunch and starts flipping lights and I react like a vampire to sunlight!

Some hollow back moulding with strip hinges mounting it to the desktop has been used to hide the cords along the wall/desk juncture and when needed to work on just folded back onto the desk. Of course those zipties with the screw holes in them on the underneath of the desk work too!

Ask about the counters mounted on tracks with an electric motor to raise/lower them to any desired height. I saw this done on the bathroom counters in a child's bathroom so they could be low enough for the small child to reach everything and as the child grew the counters could be raised also keeping everything at the kids level for convenience!
