I carefully didn't have ANY real life examples in mind.... on EITHER the Kennedy's or Jackson (who has NOT been convicted, and who.... although a major league mess..... may NOT have actually molested any child). I was just giving realistic sounding "hypotheticals" using celebrity names people might be likely to recognize a century hence.
Although..... I wouldn't be surprised to find that the elder Joseph Kennedy (the known bootlegger & purported nazi-sympathizer with close mafia ties) HAD done so..... he made a lot of money in a VERY rough business, and wasn't exactly known for letting inhibitions get in the way of what he wanted for himself & his family.
