Sounds like you need a cookbook
I've got the new Jamie Oliver one which has some good easy meals. There are some on his web site as well -> [
www.jamieoliver.com]
The BBC has quite a few -> [
www.bbc.co.uk]
One of my favourites is uncooked prawns in their shells fried very quickly with fresh garlic, fresh lemon juice, butter (quite a lot) and south african peri peri powder. Either put them on a bed of rice or on a salad with nice crusty bread and the whole meal takes 5minutes to make! I do get lazy myself and get premade meals sometimes but there's no reason to use packet powder sauces IMO (except for hollandaise sauce which is a nightmare to make properly and tastes better using the packet - although thats probably me not being able to make sauces properly!)
