Were there no living quarters? Do you know what the western enclosure's are, or what they were used for? Did every single person 'living' in the south-delta region take up residence at Memphis?
As long as were on Saqqara:
What are your thoughts on the ceiling of Zoser's main shaft? Wierd, hunh?
What do you think about the apparent sun/star/sun exchange of beliefs over time there? (The notable late change being at Abusir with Neferirkare).
