Robert equates this site with the old IAB site, which was replete with harrassment and negativism.
It had to be, as the focus of the site was negative... "debunking the Lost Civilization". Only negative things could come of it.
This site was created to be a middle ground... a place of rational, peaceful meeting between the people who wanted hardcore answers to difficult questions, based on the data available to the people who have been there.
Hence, we have the likes of Frank Doernenburg and Archae Solenhofen for pyramid construction theory.
We have Margaret Morris on geopolymers.
We have Mikey Brass and Claire on sphinx weathering.
We have... well, you get the picture.
There is NO effort to debunk going on here... only to investigate. Now, when something shows up that has ALREADY been addressed and been shown to be "not meeting the standards of logic and science", it may get a little derision.
Well, sometimes a LOT of derision...
But it will still be discussed. The links to the previous discussions will be provided.

Sure, there are spats... but they are fairly polite, and often based on evidence. Ad hominem attacks are pointed out and held up like a trophy here... whoever can kill one first wins!

Have you EVER seen a thread like the "synthetic zeolite" thread at any of the other sites? I doubt it.
