Kat tried to come out, and with the "directorship" of the others (whom I do believe have little or NOTHING to do with the running of the messageboard) I think she has created an environment where EVIDENCE is required for the conclusions before further conclusions can be reached.
Frankly, Robert, I find YOU to be the voice of science and reason at the GHMB. I would be terribly disappointed to find out that you feel your "cause" can't withstand attacks.
Now, I know it's no fun getting way-laid. Trust me. Been there. Done that. However, if what you know is true, then the opinions of the uninformed are irrelevant.
And the people who want to see YOU stand up and defend your theory in front of the harshness of what appears to be hard science will be disappointed.
It will, of course, be construed as you admitting you can't defend it, and then more people will get the impression of you that they got from the Horizon program. I don't think that's what you want. I KNOW it's not what I want.
I'm sure you've noticed a SEVERE difference between what this site is, and what the other "site that shall not be named" was. Look at the alternative theories being discussed here. Look at the evidence being presented. Look at the COUNTERING of that evidence... and so on.
When you got into this... you may have thought it would be easy. You yourself have told me that you found it to be quite surprising how much resistence you have met along the way.
Please just think of this as another milestone.
Use it to sharpen your teeth, so to speak. Then, if a debate DOES occur, you'll have a pretty good idea of what the latest rebuttals are to be.
Just my opinion, Robert. I know you're a better man, and you won't back down. It's too bad there's so much "bad blood history" between all of you, but just like Sandy J Perkins and myself, it doesn't mean we can't move forward.
