Action is needed but any retaliation must be focused. If you're saying bomb Afghanistan how can you be sure you don't kill innocent Afghan civilians? And if you do rather than ending the cycle of violence and ending terrorism you are only fanning the flames for another generation of atrocities.

The scenes of palestinians cheering were sickening but you have to realise they were only a minority. Should we also murder those in the UK and the US that cheered during the gulf war?
If you take sides and instigate further revenge attacks of terror indiscriminately the problem will not go away.

I think everyone is emotional about this so its understandable. The US and the world must react but if we respond with indiscriminate acts of terror we become no better than the scum themselves.
I just read that the Taliban have Bin laden under house arrest so there
is a very good chance the US could extradite him.
