There are myriad examples on the Web of photoshopped so-called ancient artefacts, or forged artefacts - e.g., this one from Peru - [irna.fr] - which has been mentioned previously.

The alleged discovery was made twelve or thirteen years ago, and nothing more has been heard of it (or Dr. Marly) since ...

What does that tell you?
