The dates shown are barely before contact from the Spanish. IF there was trade in chickens then surely to goodness the royal Inca family would know this!!

As I quoted here: [www.hallofmaat.com] the chroniclers for the most part agree that the chicken was introduced by the Spanish. Acosta solely disagrees but he arrived late and was Spanish as well.

Do we completely discount the eye witnesses we have, based on the bones of 5 chickens whose dating is barely before contact?
