The aqbout link haws a problem. scattered through it are implications that the voyages were one way one time. in fact that implication seems to bleed over to the dispora itself.

The dispora was not a random sail outward and in one direction. It was not an exploration but a traffic highway with specific goals in mind. Colonization. These peoples did not just sail with the currents.

I mentioned before it is my thought that there was contact and a lot of it. Colonization did not take place or serious technological transfer as the locals (SA) were doing just fine. Trade is a differnt story. And trade is not a continuous ting. it runs in cycles. trading for an animal (chicken) might have been more than profitable.
