Recieved some antedotal information dealing with the state of Indian and Pakistani archaeology.

It was said,


"India has tended to underdevelop its resources, Pakistan even worse. This has happened because they have tired to develop their own archaeological resources while keeping other researchers outside the subcontinent"

That doesn't sound plausible to me or is it?
