<HTML>Hi Martin,
In the revised edition of FOG does Hancock rescind his erroneous information regarding the demise of the mammoths, and his linkage between the climates of Siberia and Alaska to an earth crustal displacement?
I am in disagreement with Hancock again over the format he has chosen for the revised edition. You are right that keeping the erroneous information within the text body creates confusion. The standard procedure is to produce a text body that is as factually accurate as possible (no text body can ever be perfect) and to note what changes have been made from previous edition in the introduction or the preface.
A publication date has not been discussed for my book. I only received confirmation from a publisher a few days ago that they would publish my book. I've still to examine the sample contract they have sent me and to have a lawyer look it over as well. After that there are the matters of doing any revisions to my text, signing a full contract, etc. I won't know the publication date for a while to come.
Cheers,
Mike.</HTML>
