My view is that the latest NASA photos so severly weakens the Face theory, that all discussion relating to it, eg, the Giza connection is moot.
This isn't to say that Graham and Robert's phi-relationships aren't interensting, or good math, but as I said GHMB several months ago in relation to a similar point: all of these kinds of observations make me wonder how far we can go in establishing such interesting mathematical correlations, that seem meaningful but aren't always so.
Thanks for pointing out that Graham did make mention of the 1998 Global Surveyor photos in the Mars Mystery. I'd have to read the book again before I'd totally commit to this conclusion but my lingering feeling - and especially now given that Graham did know about the Surveyor photos prior to submission of the manuscript - is that the crux of the Mars Mystery amounts to veiled appeal to emotion, probably based on contractual obligations with the publisher.</HTML>
