I get the distinct impression that you have not read the S&T article in question, nor have you actually understood what I wrote, which is that <b> Bauval's </b> attempted refutation of <b>Krupp's</b> criticism of his (Bauval's) efforts exemplifies Bauval's lack of understanding of what is presented before his (Bauval's) eyes.
It makes no difference whether the chart fragment in question was Bayer's or anyone else's; the point is that Bauval's statement that the map was erroneously reversed is itself erroneous and that the evidence for Bauval's error was before his eyes. It appears that he either failed to understand it or ignored it.
