Bauval has villified the characters of dozens of people on the web in the past -- it's his and Hancock's standard response to any criticism or perceived insult -- and not once has he apologized to any of them. His reposne to your call for an apology on the GHMB is typical -- another flaccid dodge of the bullet.
I have made inquiries with the president's office as to whether they gave permission for the publication of private correspondence on the internet. I'll keep the board posted on their reaction.
Finally, I noted that in an earlier thread (<a href="[

, Hancock published, without asking my permission, several entirely private messages I exchanged with the debate participants and with Bauval. One of those messages contained a personal family detail that I'd really rather not have had broadcast across the internet. Hancock published it anyway. This shows the extent of their "decency" and "honour."
