But never the less there it is in the Hittite annals not just once but also I believe in one of the Hittite plague prayers.I don't see what relevance it has that it was written 25 years after the fact. Everything's written after the fact. So given this extensive documentation why should we doubt it though? It was written in the Deeds of supp along with Supps sending his son who was murdered and then it described his rage that followed the murder it sounds like sober history to me. In addtion we have a fragmentary letter probably from Ay ridiculing Supp for his folly. The fact that it doesn't fit in with our 21'st century ideas about how succession in AE times took place is unimportant.That Ankhesenamun thought she could get away with this Marx brothers/three stooges coup de tat is just another short chapter in the folly of mankind. A variation of it would be repeated again in Ramses the Third reign with the "harem conspiracy".
