No.... they've got partial self rule UNDER the British Monarchy. If the monarchy or the British parliment wanted something enough, they could override or coerce the Scottish parliment into giving in.
You'll notice that England STILL hasn't given back the "official" Stone of Scone from under the Windsor's throne..... despite it being a SCOTTISH national treature & all, & despite previous agreements.
You'll also notice that Scotland is still paying taxes to England, and so on.

Nah, it's only "hidden" under the layers of dried urine deposited by drunken locals.... who REALLY get a kick out of telling tourists to kiss the Blarney Stone.
