<HTML>Dear Anthony,
I won't charge you "wanton discussion manipulation". All that's fair game.
I enjoy reading both MB's and even what remains of the third one. I also like the interplay of personalities and just the general sense of amazement I feel over what many will accept and even say publicly.
From your first announcement of your machine, as you know, I was horrified at the general acceptance of your claims though some said their congratulations were for you Patent Application. ( Which I am sure you know means nothing as it has not been decided whether or not you get a patent.)
I was concerned and still am that you reveled in this adulation as I felt you should have recognized that it is not good when people just go along with a fantastic claim with out any proof being offered whatsoever.
That frightens me. That's how fraud is perpetuated. It's classic. Did you know that more financial fraud is perpetuated in Utah than any other state because the people there are so accepting of their brethren that without proof of future success they will commit their life savings to very questionable enterprises. In science and even the humanities it is important to question and not accept at face value fantastic claims.
With all due respect Sir I wonder about this statement you have just made:"I hope we can move beyond Avry's distraction tactics and get back around to the good clean fun of hardcore science."
When it comes to your Herodotus Machine we have received not one iota of "hardcore science." Please Sir show us the science.
Greg
