First of all, I have not changed anything. I made a contribution to the MB out of respect for its intentions. Your response has been intolerant.
Secondly: read the BSC judgement FOR YOURSELF, in full - don't rely on propagandist versions of it.
Hancock and Bauval made 10 complaints. They lost ALL BUT ONE. This was simply rectified: in good faith, a point of fact was also corrected and we described his ludicrous objections to carbon dating. I am sure it was embarrassing for him. Bauval LOST the complaint that focused on the dating of the Orion correlation to 10500BC.
Note also that unprecedentedly the BSC referred to the good faith of the programme makers. Rightly.
The film represented high calibre programme making - and superb research.
As all the excellent reviews of the programme as re-shown showed, and as David Aaronvitch commented in the Independent, the programme remained a devastating analysis of Hancock's and others' 'thinking'.
Just get your facts straight. Then there is something to be discussed.</HTML>
