<HTML>Which raises an issue of plausibliity for the LC hypothesis. Since we have dozens of documented examples of how more technologically advanced cultures tend to ravage those less complex cultures they come across, how likely is it that refugees from a "superior" LC could so peacefully "instruct" the benighted populations without lording it over them? Seems contrary to all we know, esp. the examples you raise, Anthony.
