I mean EXACTLY. The examples I gave were of colonial "improvements" to existing cultures, as they were "upgraded" to "modern" standards.
And subsequently destroyed.
Ergo, the diffusion is only rascist if we consider "bringin their culture to the end, introducing pestilence and causing extinction of about 60% of local population over time. " to be an improvement that they needed.
See what I mean?
Colonial invaders aren't necessarily improving anything, and in many cases, they are decreasing the standard of living, science and architecture of the indigenous peoples. To claim that as an improvement, and then claim that they could not have had this improvement without colonialism, is flawed logic, as the improvement was never an improvement to begin with.
In actuality, one could argue that the racism is reversed, as more times than not, the spreading of a culture is less like a "wave of civilization", and more like a horrible virus.
