Radial tension cracks (a lack thereof) seems to be Nienhuis's 'proof' of a global flood. To quote him: "What do we conclude from this absence of tension cracks in the folded sedimentary rocks? I agree that the WWW is replete with information alleged megaliths, thousand mile tunnels under South America, UFOS, ghosts, vampires, etc. Every crazy idea is represented on the web. I think basically GV works by looking on the WWW for things he wants to believe in, eg his underwater megaliths off China, etc (and he probably has his own definition of megalith). He isn't interested in solid evidence, or even any evidence at times. I'll let this run a little longer and see if he can actually provide any evidence, and if we are still wasting our time I'll loby DougWeller - Ancient History

Fair enough (except that there actually is a difference between saying you look silly and saying you are silly -- you might look silly without being silly) but how about responding to the issue? How do you count 56 Aubrey Holes to get a 72 hole count? So far you have posted twice avoiding the issue. Dougby DougWeller - Ancient History

It's so much easier to ask questions than provide answers. But what's the point? This guy believes in a geologically and biologically impossible global flood. He begs many questions (ie he assumes the answer in asking the question), he wants to know what dates we ascribe to things instead of explaining his dates and his reasons for those dates, etc. Dougby DougWeller - Ancient History

Baird is quoting Gardiner? Let's see what Gardiner writes about: The Shining Ones By Philip Gardiner Brief Overview The book is about a worldwide secret priesthood, who date at least as far back as 5000 years before Christ, and who have formed the modern world.
