Sorry I think this was an error on my part.

I had a very long article but it turned out it was totally wrong. I really should have learned by now to check my work before posting. i had thought all the angles were 36 degrees but they weren't and the angle of deflection of the roof is not 18 but appears to be around 14 . For now can't see the significance.
