Height of The Great Pyramid by MOST consensus is supposed to have been planned at 280 cubits
Most sources suggest that the cubit was probably 20.62 inches. Thus 280 x 20.62 should give us the proposed height in inches and this equals 5773.6 inches. There are some who would disagree with this but most Egyptologists I have read agree that it was probably 20.62
Now interestingly the square root of 3 divided by 3 just happens to equal 0.57735027 and if we were to multiply this by 10,000 we get 5773.5027 or a whole 1/10th of an inch off.
This was a nice diversion until I found this.
Pi divided by 2 and then divided by the same square root of 3 yields this:
3.14159265359 (rounded but final number will not be) divided by 2 = 1.5707963268
1.5707963268 / 1.73205080757 = 0.90689968211710892529703912882106
And if we multiply this number by 10,000 as we did to get the height of The Great Pyramid we get ... 9068.9968 and here is what Petrie has to say about The Great Pyramid base measurements.
North side = 9069.4 inches
East side = 9067.7 inches
South side = 9069.5 inches
West side = 9068.6 inches
============================
Mean = 9068.8 inches
Deviation of my proposed value for the base from Petrie's mean is 9068.9962 (mine) - 9068.8 (Petrie's) = 0.197 or 2/10th of one inch.
So you may be right, The Ancient Egyptians ( if you insist) used no inch [Don], they used cubits, palms, & digits (fingers)... HOWEVER THE BUILDERS OF THE PYRAMIDS DID USE THE INCH !
