It may very well have been that height exactly.
But, assuming for the sake of the discussion that Khufu did know our inch....I don't think he demanded that it be exactly so many inches high.
I think they planned the base exactly, I think they planned the slope. They probably projected the height in cubits, but I very much doubt they considered anything more finite.
