Could you clarify what you mean by three sides opposite three pyramids? I keep coming up with triangles in my head on this, which I know you didn't mean...
As for the other...
If you declare an endpoint goal first, then any set of data can be illustrated to support that endpoint.
On the flip side, you can also consider that any sufficiently large set of data can support any chosen endpoint by carefully choosing points from within the set as a subset of data.
