The metrics system is not an arbitray one. It is derived from the distance between the equator and the poles(one quadrant of Earth’s meridian). We just divide this length by 10,000,000 and end up with the meter. But the meter measure is important because apart from the megacosmos it embodies the microcosmos. From the perimeter of the simplest electron circular trajectory (Bohr’s perimeter) we can derive the Phedonian foot(0.333 m). Three such feet add up to one meter. The French simply redefined the same measure – being the most evident option. Maybe Napoleon’s scientists after studying all the archeological data especially from Egypt came up with the idea.

Neolithic sites exist that don’t include architectural structures that endure. No big cities, no landmarks like dolmens , stone circles, megalithic tombs, nothing of monumental proportions. Nothing that would lead us to the notion of using it as a landmark. One example is the Vinca culture. There is no use in looking for round km distance correlations with pottery shred positions. Another reason that a correlation is not found is that there might – and there is – another center of reference.
I thus present the Knossos correlations. I have also included distances from tall mountains. Something very impressive is that the world's oldest free-standing structure - the neolithic temple of Ggantija in Gozo Malta, Knossos, and Tell al-Ubaid form a greater Earth circle(the curve that unites Ggantija and Tell al-Ubaid crosses over Knossos.). The azimuth error at Knossos is 0.05 degrees.
