How RIDICULOUS!
The cubit measurements STARTED with Khufu's pyramid. You can't then use those measurements to say that they are proven by their existence WITHIN Khufu's pyramid. It's circular.
Don't jump the gun, Anthony and climb down from your high horse for just a minute will ya! You are correct, your statement describes a circular argument, however, your statement does not apply to or in any way describe what I am proposing.
My proposal states: if one starts with no defined units of measure and using only geometric and mathematical concepts of the pyramids, such as the 5.5 seked, to generate not only the cubit as a unit of measure, but the exterior dimensions of said Pyramid there is no circular argument, is there? According to everything I have been able to ascertain the Royal Egyptian cubit of (20 + 1/2 + 1/10 + 1/55 inches) did not start with Khufu's Pyramid! It is however, used by Khufu's Pyramid to define additional concepts employed by the Ancient Egyptians.
