Again this is from Lehner's book and it is totally wrong again.
Slope angle with distances given = (1/2 of 78.9) / 51.68 = 0.7633514 This is cotangent for 52.644
NOT 51° 50' 35"
Height = 51.68m = 2034.646 inches = 98.68 cubits
Base = 78.9m = 3106.30 inches = 150.66 cubits ( 150 cubits ? )
Slope 51° 50' 35" or 51.843 degrees
Chances are that this pyramid like most others of this dynasty was 150 cubits on the base and 100 cubits on the height. Since this is the shape it is in [
egyptphoto.ncf.ca] it is very tough to argue either way. However the data as given in Lehner's book is once again WRONG and does not fit.
... The Pyramid
The pyramid has a seven step core of local limestone. We estimate that it was originally 52 meters (173 feet) high, with a base length of 81 meters (270 feet). The outer mantle is made of fine white limestone and for stability, the corners of the pyramid are anchored to the foundation. ... [

Today it is badly deteriorated, but originally reached a height of around 51.5m. The corners of the structure, which had a base measurement of about 80m, were reinforced and some of the casing blocks still survive on the south-east corner. ... [
