the point is , imho,that 2000 years of Judeo/Christian Eurocentrism , Warfare and Colonialism have led to any number of people being incapable of allowing that a society could all be on the same page, sharing the same "pagan" beliefs, and working towards a common goal without the benefit of outside assistance or lost technology.

Just as many believe the Mezo Americans MUST have had contact with the old world to have been able to achieve what they did.

Or that Great Zimbabwe must have been built by white people.

Once these notions are implanted in the group consiousness of a society..thus creating vaccuums ...it is only natural that the intellectually curious seek to fill same.

What is frustrating is that those same people often completely ignore the fact that many of the voids they are attempting to fill are allready occupied

again ..IMHO..this can be seen as the best reason that a separate forum was created for Alternate Geometry and Numerology...

Because it was recognised that most of those presenting these ideas steadfastly refused to attempt to try and place them in Historical Context.
