Pharos means lighthouse in Greek and the fact that in the same location there was a small Egyptian fishing port named Rhakotis(Raqd.t) means there might have also been a lighthouse of some sort on an island in the gulf of Alexandria. I think we should keep in mind that apart from the distance from Djozer pyramid being 1,000 Olympia stadiums we have the direction pointing to Greece and others have pointed out the GP cross-section showing up when one unites the GP and Alexandria. This has to be with the GP apex angle being related to the GP-Alexandria azimuth and the latitude of important sites in Greece.
