What's interesting for me in the article is the suggestion of 40 as a basic multipar;

Strangely, Gantenbrink found that the heights of all construction points in the Great Pyramid were essentially either one 40th of the basic width of the pyramid or one 40th of their height. This is all the more surprising in that the base of 440 cubits when divided by 40 produces 11, and the height of 280 cubits when divided by 40 it produces 7. It might be a coincidence that the latter are the 5th and 6th terms in the Lucas sequence. This clear sub- division into 40th, Gantenbrink said, leads us to suspect that the architect of Khufu's Pyramid worked to a scale of 1:40 when placing his plan on papyrus

It's long been my position that G1 demonstrates accordance to numeric factors of the Earth/Venus periodics in terms of course layer positionings and shaft indicators, 40 is arguably the key number in such derivations, a cycle divided into five sectors around the horizon repeated 5 times over 40 years.

This is Gatenbrinks work on the usage of 40 as the scaling factor;

[www.cheops.org]

Cycles = Earth years =Venus orbits = (Earth+Venus) =(Venus-Earth)

1...............8...................13.......................21..................5

5..............40...................65......................105.................25
..
10.............80..................130......................210......... .......50

The above emboldened figures are the critical numeric aspects of ten cycles of Venus, and to find corroborative evidence that these were of considerable importance then it needs to realised that these figures represent the key numeric symbolism of the Great Pyramid, in terms of the positionings upon the course layers. There were overall 210 courses of Sandstone masonry blocks to create the core, with the 'Queens Chamber' being on the 25th course and the 'Kings Chamber' on the 50th, these the differentials of 5 and 10
Earth/Venus cycles respectively.
