Hi RLH ...
Allow me to suggest something.
You have the solar angle as 28.35 and then you note that they do not quite touch the corners of G1 and G3 with this angle. In order to touch the corners we woud need a smaller angle ... say ... oh I don't know how about ... 28.1966 degrees.
Now some but not all are probably wondering where I came up with this angle ... Well ... 2 x 28.1966 = 56.3932. This would mean the other two angles which are equal would be 180 - 56.3932 or 123.60679774997896964091736687313 divided by two would yield ... are we ready for this ?
Anyway it yields 61.803 per angle or PHI TIMES 100
I just found that rather interesting. Don't you ?
cheers
