error. mid-point of distribution to expected result -- unknown. assumption two are equal -- unsupport. Mr. Taylor's calculation -- conservative, reasonable.

true (& irrelevant) -- 44x10=440.

"unit inch" -- meaningless. error per "measure" -- useless. Mr. Taylor's statement -- clear, useful.
