You are the standard of the people who depict Ancient Egypt the way they like it, not the way it really was/is. Very typical in this context is that you ignore the overwhelming evidence that the pyramids were pharaonic tombs in a giant necropolis, which, additionally, is not only 4th Dynasty, but which spans a time-frame from the very First Dynasty (Old Kingdom) (Pharaoh Djet's tomb) well into (and maybe further, I think) the New Kingdom.
