Hi all.

Ken Bakeman's site is a wealth of information and interesting studies and this particular one is no exception. In this article he attempts to prove that Osiris and Isis begetting Horus is simply a mathamtical metaphor for the solving of Pi. (I see a different math metaphor but that is for antother thread). I took his article and tried to apply it to Giza and in particular The Great Pyramid. Once again some will find this most interesting and curious others will claim it is another in a continuing to grow beyond reason example of the co-incidences to be found on The Giza Plateau.

Firstly one must read the article by Ken Bakeman and then please watch my flash animation to show how I arrived at my conclusion and then a freeze frame screen capture and description of the final results.

As always interesting material to be sure.

Further notes:

C = 2Pi x R

D x Pi = C
14 x 3.14159 = 43.98 units

11 x 4 = 44 units

Also on this page Ken writes: "... In numbers, this is expressed as (2 x 1.118..) x 1.4142... = Pi. Pi in this case is 3.1621... or very nearly three and one-sixth. This value for Pi is extremely important in arcane Egyptian design. " what Ken failed to do is square this number which will when sqaured give us ... 9.99887641 or in reality is the square root of 10 !

cheers and enjoy
