Hi Wayne ...
Please help me out here.
According to your drawing you are showing the distance from the south side of pyramid 1 to the 1/4 mark of pyramid 3 as the square root of 3 if we assign the distance from the west side of P3 to the east side of P1 as "2" units. Using the known measure distance of 1414.21 ( or have you used 1411.25 ? ) we get the distance by calcualtion as 707.1068 ("1" unit) as equalling:
sq rt 3 x "1" unit
1.7320508075688772935274463415059 x 707.10678118654752440084436210485
= 1224.75 cubits as the distance from south side of P1 to 1/4 mark of P3. Yet measured distance seems to equal [1414.21 - 220 + (1/4 of 201.75) = 1194.21 + 50.4375 = 1244.65
Measured = 1244.65 and you have by calcualtion 1224.75. Can you explain where I am going wrong if I am wrong and how you calculated the square root of 3. I am somewhat confused on this issue.
Best
