RB "The design was made in 2500 BC, but with the architect/s deliberately incorporating the two dates expressed (1) 11,500 BC expressed in the layout, and (2) 2500 BC defined by the shafts."

Yes, Robert, having two dates incorporated like this has always been clear in the OCT, but many think it is a weak point of the theory. They may be willing to accept that the three pyramids mimic the belt stars of Orion - but not the two dates part.

Obviously a complete theory needs to explain the orientation on the ground of 37 degrees to north-south of P1-P3 but other explanations have been proposed.

Two examples :

1) Chris Tedder's idea was that the orientation is achieved in the south east at azimuth 52 degrees south of east where the orientation was 37 degrees. (an aspect of this was presented in The Egypt Code)

2) My idea that the three pyramids were a double representation of the three circumpolar stars (Kocab, Mizar, Thuban) and the 37 degrees comes from them.
