Well ... there's an image of it here: [www.bridgemanimages.com] - and here: [www.mediastorehouse.co.uk] It certainly doesn't look as if there's much in the shape of an inscription.

But there's no mention of the sphinx in this Griffiths Institute list: [www.griffith.ox.ac.uk] (although I'm not sure if this list includes all objects found in the tomb). And nor is there any mention in Desroches-Noblecourt "Tutankhamen": [archive.org].

So no joy!

(Although I did find a nice inscription on a calcite vase - [laciviltaegizia.org] (scroll down to CALICE A FORMA DI LOTO),
