Petrie says (68, 70) that, in the 18th Dynasty, a new sign appears: a long tank of water upheld on the arms of the
djed pillar - "an imitation of the inundation."
But that's the 18th Dynasty: not the 4th.
And it doesn't say anything about pyramids.
