Indeed, within the framework of the proposed model, Khafre's puzzle is an interesting exception that awaits thorough investigation. If one adheres to the traditional view of the belonging and date of construction of the Giza pyramids, then this exception can be interpreted as a weak point of the model. However, as you know, the idea of co-planning of the Giza complexes (master plan - Bauval, Legon, etc.; double project - Magli) has been around for a long time. In my opinion, the Khafre puzzle is an exception that confirms the rule rather than refutes it.
It’s interesting to uncover the ideas behind the original plan, but so far I don’t have a complete picture.
