Looking more and more like they built over a pre-existing structure... Luminescence samples of mortar will show the age difference between the southern back wall and relieving chamber. Sweet discovery... Dixon's relic looking about right. The cedar c14 dates (range) 3,400 - 3,100 BCE, found in the northern shaft of the queens chamber, that shaft articulates around the GG and is 250 feet long before ending... that location in my view equals the exterior or exit point of the shaft. so as I've stated here many times there are 2 epochs of construction for all three pyramids prior to the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the queens chamber we see today was built, along with the GG, long before Khufu incorporated them, as well the structure they belonged to, into his pyramid.
would be cool if they found foot prints on the chamber floor, amazingly pristine from what I can tell.
