The implications of “. . . the king ordered the Pyramids to be built, . . . and he placed within them his treasures, and all his valuable property, together with the bodies of his ancestors” (Creighton’s emphasis) for “. . . the Pyramids are ‘Recovery Vaults’ and not Tombs” (my emphasis) I leave as an exercise for the reader.
