Consider in particular this assertion in the excerpt from Void:

https://www.amazon.com/Great-Pyramid-Void-Enigma-Ancestors/dp/159143402

“. . . I did not, however, arrive at this Recovery Vault conclusion of my own accord--I took my cue from what the ancient Egyptian texts tell us: . . .”

Let’s consider the development of this over time. The original version:

https://www.google.co.uk/search? . . .

“. . . I took my cue from what the ancient Egyptians themselves actually tell us and which was later written down by various Arabic scholars. . . .”

Excuse me? If “the ancient Egyptians themselves actually tell us” it, why even mention what “was later written down by various Arabic scholars”? Unless what they wrote down is our actual source and “the ancient Egyptians themselves” do not “actually tell us” at all?

https://www.google.co.uk/search? . . .

“. . . I took my cue from what the ancient Egyptians themselves tell us, and that which [sic] was later written down by various Arabic scholars. . . .”

https://www.google.co.uk/search? . . .

“. . . I took my cue from what the ancient Egyptian texts tell us: . . .”

That the texts he invokes are not ancient Egyptian and not what “the ancient Egyptians themselves actually tell us” is sufficiently clear. The question is, did he “take his cue” from any texts at all? Consider this old article:

http://www.scottcreighton.co.uk/PDF-Files/The%20Giza%20Genesis%20Plan.pdf

Conspicuous by its absence is the word “Coptic”—and there is no mention of “ancient texts” other than (once) the Pyramid Texts.

Scroll to the bottom and we see that this is an extract from The Giza Prophecy (2012). In that work we find one instance of the word “Coptic” and no mention at all of the medieval Arabic histories.

https://www.google.co.uk/search?tbm=bks&q=coptic . . .

Far from his having “taken his cue” from what the texts “tell us”, this was a preconceived theory which he brought to the texts. Not until 2017 did he quote the text about which he’s made all this fuss.

Creighton’s “I took my cue” statement is false and falsifies the history of his “thought” on this question. I’ll leave it at that.
