I got 'arrested' in Dubai for showing a Powerpoint slide show which contained satellite images of a former UAE military post we were proposing to change into a vocational college. This was the mid 90's and the UAE military officers weren't use to the internet and commercial satellites taking photographs of everything and everywhere. They were most annoyed that I included a image of a large warehouse where they stored there 25 Hwasong-5s (Scuds), again all known to the world from them being photographed from sapce

I had to remind them that they had abandoned the base in early 80's, except for that wearhouse - which I intended to change into college lecture hall....another time in Budapest I was escorting 20+ female Arab college students to an IT conference and they and I were arrested because they were taking pictures of a Jewish Temple - something they had not seen before of course. They were all in Abaya the black sack that covers them from head to foot.
